About Me
Naomi combines her passion and love for real estate sales with her ability to see the big picture and intuitive management skills and loves to take agents to the next level in their business. Born and raised in a family of Carlisle highly regarded and respected Real Estate attorneys, it is no wonder that Naomi traded her nursing career for the family business of real estate. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, she loves to challenge entrepreneurial minded agents to think outside the box. Her background in honed negotiation skills, years as a high producing sales agent, corporate background in commercial sales, mergers, and acquisitions, combined with her creativity to advance the agent centered culture at her previous brokerage where she operated side by side with the broker, managed several offices, and was the VP of a large relocation department. She leads by these four principles – Listen, Learn, Help, Lead. Involved in both her church and community, she also has a special place in her heart for the work of Brittany’s Hope in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County. She is Vice Chairman of their Board of Directors and has had the privilege to travel with them to Vietnam to meet her 2 sponsored children and 2 families for whom Life Changes Realty Group’s Pay it Forward program built houses. This was truly a highlight of her professional career.
In May of 2013, she traded in her corporate hat to follow her personal “mission meets the marketplace” passion by opening Life Changes Realty Group. Specializing in offering a boutique, client-first real estate agency in Lancaster County. The company partners with clients through life changes that involve the sale and purchase of real estate. She believes in “relationships – not transactions” and work for the client’s best interests as they walk through life changes like launching (first time home buyers), just marrieds, expanding families, job changes, coasters (empty nest downsizers), changing health issues, investors, seniors, and estate sales.
Naomi started Life Changes Realty Group with the heart to help others and she believes in community connections and giving back. She is proud to incorporate into their client centered culture a “pay it forward” program as a way to say thank you to clients for blessing and trusting them with their business. In gratefulness, she desires to keep that blessing going forward for someone else. So when a deal is closed, they take a portion of their commission earned and allow the client to select from a list of hand- picked charities to donate that money to the cause that resonates most with them personally.
Her unique mission is to partner beside clients in their journey of change, offering top notch professional real estate and life services uniquely blended with listening, educating, connecting, supporting, and rebuilding to help them to move positively and boldly forward. She is building a team of highly skilled, experienced agents in Lancaster County who share her vision and sales style. In addition to the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation, she proudly holds the distinguished CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) designation representing the highest level of professional achievement in real estate brokerage management. She works by referral, loves to network with others, is hard working and dedicated, and in her spare time, loves boating, her talented kids and husband, traveling and lake trips, and spending time with her two beautiful Australian Shepherds.
I was fortunate enough to meet and marry my best friend nearly 40 years ago. Tom continues to sacrificially be the wind beneath my sails. Tom loves the dirt and the earth. He is happiest when on his tractor or in his garden. His grandfather Fritz had one of the finest gardens in Rutherford and people in town would go buy flowers from this Swedish Railroad working immigrant. Tom gave up his Fredlund’s Landscaping business for our family and while he works for UPS, his heart is filled with visions of dirt and making things grow.
Along with Tom came one of the most beautiful and talented women into my life in the form of his cousin Mary Margaret Fredlund. In addition to being a super talented artist and graphic designer, winning multiple awards for her outstanding creative work, this special lady brought massages and magnets and laughter and song to our annual family get-togethers. In the last several years, she has filled the role of sister in my heart and helped me in my personal journey. I had the pleasure of traveling to Italy and absorbing the touch of God’s finger at the Sistine Chapel with Mary. She has taught me the value of 5 ways to tell a story and her joy is contagious. Because of her encouragement, Life Changes Realty Group is here today.
All things happen for a reason. One door closes so another one can open. If you had asked me four years ago if I would be opening a brokerage with a very different “client first” mission, I would have said “not in the plan”. I was on a corporate fast track, managing and climbing the ladder of a large real estate company in Central PA. It was my plan to ride fast and furious into my career sunset with that company so Tom could retire and play in the dirt, while I climbed and grew a business model I believed in. I loved the executive track, strategic planning, and operations. I was good at helping both departments and agents grow. But I lost the balance – it was work, work, work – in that order. I had lost the order my parents taught me of God, Family, then Work. And so, the finger of God reached out and led me to a different path… one filled with beauty, balance, and belief and putting others first. And so, LIFE CHANGES REALTY GROUP was born. Every day I personally commit to allowing God to challenge me with dreams so big I don’t know how they will be accomplished and to looking for those that need the difference we bring to the marketplace. Check us out… see the difference… the LIFE CHANGES difference.
